My name is Amelia Liew Yenchi. I am from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. I am a friendly, caring, loving and talkative person. I like to know new friends and get along people from all walks of life. I like to be in a competative society so that I can improve myself. I finished my Pre-U level in Labuan Matriculation College batch 2008/2009. It was a great experience there. I attended an interview for architecture at Universiti Sains Malaysia last May. The first time I stepped in this university, I can feel the great atmosphere and the natural environment that impressed me so much. The interview went well but I cannot assured my place here as I know there is very limited place in this APEX university. When my Matriculation result came out, I was hoping quite much to get in Universiti Sains Malaysia. Finally with all the blessings, I managed to get in. I am very glad to get this opportunity because I can learn more to increase my knowledge, experience and ability to meet the needs of the society.
I registered myself at USM last saturday and started my orientation week. The orientation week was very useful. Although it was very tiring, I learnt a lot from the activities that was organised. I get to know the environment and what I should need to prepare myself for the challenging years ahead. I also met some new friends here. They are very nice and friendly to me.
